Emma provides acupuncture and herbal medicine with personalized service and support for her patients health. She helps her patients by giving them individual attention so that they will reach their optimal health goals.
Before finding her calling to alternative medicine, she attend University of California Santa Cruz and received her Bachelors in American Studies and a minor in History of Visual Arts and Culture. A year after completing her undergrad program, she entered Yo San University to receive her Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine encompasses acupuncture, Chinese herbs, tuina, cupping, moxabustion and Chinese nutrition. During her program, she completed over 3,000 hours of training in acupuncture and formula writing. She also participated in an externship at the Venice Family Clinic, the largest free clinic in the country. She treated patients with a variety of conditions including, but not limited to: back pain, fertility, headaches, digestive disorders, nueropathy, women’s reproductive issues, and pain management for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. She also supplemented her studies with work in an herbal store filling Chinese herbal formulas.
