About Emma

emmaEmma has always been drawn to the complimentary medicine healing world. As a patient during her teenage years, she was in awe at how well complimentary medicine worked for her. Her self-healing experience planted the seed for her to discover her life’s passion in the healing arts.

After completing her undergrad program at the University of California: Santa Cruz and receiving her bachelors in American Studies with a minor in History of Visual Arts and Culture, she decided to pursue her Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Yo San University in Los Angles. During this program, she completed over 3,000 hours of training in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She also participated in an externship at the Venice Family Clinic, the largest free clinic in the country.

After completing her Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Emma moved to Durham, North Carolina where she treated over 2,000 patients with an array of health issues from pain and neuropathy, to hormone balancing and weight loss. Emma loves working with her patients and helping them progress along their journey to health.

She moved again to Grand Junction, Colorado where she worked in a multidisplinary health clinic. She continued helping and treating patients with Chinese Medicine and found her focus of helping women with hormone issues and other health issues. This ranges from cycle issues to infertility. During this time she also completed her Functional Medicine training with Functional Medicine University.

Since moving back to California and having her first child, she is eager to get back to work and help people. Emma is very excited to join Kinesis Chiropractic and Physical Medicine. Emma enjoys getting to know her patients, so that she can provide a personalized style of healing to each of them. She wants her compassion and caring energy to help them with the process while they improve their strength on their healing journey.
