Emma Browning is a wellness specialist and licensed acupuncturist who specializes in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum support. From the start of her practice in 2012, her focus has been on reproductive medicine. Emma is guided by the principles of integrative medicine, often collaborating with doctors and other health care practitioners to maintain continuity of care.
Passionate about helping couples achieve their goal of becoming parents, it brings her great joy to be part of this personal and meaningful journey. The foundation of her nurturing and supportive approach is a commitment to keeping her patients informed so they can be active participants in achieving optimal health.
Emma was first introduced to acupuncture as a student at UC Santa Cruz where she earned a Bachelors degree in American Studies and History of Visual Art and Culture. After experiencing great success using Chinese medicine to treat her own health issues, she continued her graduate studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine so that she could share its benefits with others.
Emma completed a Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine degree from Yo San University in Los Angeles, CA. After completion she went to start her practice in North Carolina where she started her focus on women’s health. She later moved to Colorado, where she worked in a multidisciplinary office gaining more training in helping women with their hormones and balancing cycles. She also completed her Functional Medicine training with Functional Medicine University.
Emma is working towards becoming a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM). ABORM certification demonstrates the highest competency and advanced knowledge in the field of both Western and Oriental Reproductive Medicine.
Emma lives in Long Beach and keeps her own balance by spending time with her daughter, cooking farmers market fresh foods and enjoying the outdoors.
